The property is beautiful. The grounds are well kept and lush with greenery and flowers. The room was great - the beds and linens comfortable and the pillows were the best ( wish I had pillows like that at home). There is only a small plug in room heater and even though it was windy and chilly outside it wasn’t needed. The bedding was warm enough for sleeping comfortably. The breakfasts were excellent - always fresh food being brought out and refilled. Scrambled eggs and sausage or ham daily, waffles, croissants, English muffins, toast (and if you need you can ask for gluten free bread and they will bring you some), delicious variety of muffins, fresh fruit - apples and bananas daily, cut melon and oranges, even pears one day. Juices, coffee and tea. The staff is amazing - constantly clearing tables and asking if anything is needed. There were two places to eat - the beautiful sunroom and a more subdued room. If you get to breakfast during the week choose the sunroom (it’s very busy on the weekends so you may have to wait a bit for a sunroom seat but the other room is just as nice. Even the seagulls were friendly - in the morning if they realized your curtains were open they would sit in the outside AC unit and “talk” to you. The check in staff was great and very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

We were originally booked in a Standard King Room with Kitchen and got an upgrade to their newly renovated Studio - Split Level. Good size kitchen with everything we needed. Spacious lounge area. Great that there was tea and coffee available for us to use. King size bed is at the top of the stairs, and it was very comfortable, the stairs were easy to use - not too steep and carpeted for grip, which was really nice. Breakfast was included every day - pretty standard but nicer than we expected. Underground parking was available at an additional cost, but as there is not much all-hours street parking, it was great to have that option. It was a close walk to downtown, and I loved the view of the harbour from our room. would stay again as it was good value for what we got compared to other hotels close by.

I love the euro-style bunker bed loft. The room is newly renovated, simple but functional, very clean, comfortable. Located on a quiet street, it's bliss returning to relax in peace after a day out. Hotel location is perfect, walkable distance to almost everywhere. Our car just sat in garage the whole time while we enjoyed exploring the neighbourhood on foot. Entrance to hotel in the late evening requires access card. Our stay included daily breakfast buffet so that was awesome. The staffs were all wonderful, especially those in the breakfast room, always smiling and cheerful 😊. The housekeeping staffs were nice and helpful. Also thanks to Mr. Emerson for his extra hospitality on day of check out. I will return to stay on my future visit.

Perfect location! Park the car and pretty much walk everywhere. Bed and pillow SO comfortable!! Close to grocery store (2 min drive) (pricey on the island tho - as all islands are) Parking lot is close to building and always a spot. Breakfast was really really good for a buffet! Scrambled eggs bacon sausage croissants cereal toast juices ( good hot coffee and choice of milk and creamer too) fruit yogurt … beautiful spot for the dining room in a conservatory style room with lots of windows overlooking a lovely patio -this is a perfect spot for 2 days in gorgeous Victoria!)

The Breakfast had a good variety to meet the wants of most people. I loved the location of the property! It was literally right across the street from the Clipper Terminal. On the property, there is a brunch Mexican restaurant, a spa with fantastic massages, a bike rental shop, and a Tea House. This is also an 8-10 minute walk to the Empress Hotel and the start of restaurants. In the other direction in an 8-10 minute walk is the Warf, so it is a great area.
